What We Do

In a short span of time, EMBARC has made significant strides:

• Academic tutoring project specifically for refugee youth from
  Burma in Des Moines
• Adult Evening English as a Second Language classes (ESL)
• Multiple large-scale donation drives serving over 1,000 individuals
• Collaboration on refugee “green card” clinics serving 370 refugees
  from Burma
• Assisted in the development of multilingual health and immigration resource guides
