It’s an important step to raise community awareness of children’s vaccines amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
This week, both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) approved Pfizer’s vaccine for children ages 5-11 years old (children 12 years and older are eligible to receive adult dosage levels).
EMBARC’s vaccine access team is working tirelessly with our partners to offer vaccine access clinics and information to families with unvaccinated children. Announcements will be posted in real time on our Facebook (@EMBARC), Twitter and Instagram (@EMBARCIowa) pages in multiple languages.
